Season of Simplicity?

This is it. The last week before Christmas, kids are out of school, year end push happening at work—every task is magnified for these last days of 2022. BUT, in spite of the long to do list, I’m making every effort to simplify the season, and the tasks that come in with it. Our tree is smaller (by necessity, we have a rambunctious toddler), we left some decorations in the box, I’m planning to make from scratch cinnamon rolls for Christmas Day but not a full on brunch to surround it.  The inspiration for this goal of simplicity can be viewed in this 3-minute video on the importance, wisdom and genius of simplicity: watch now
